Lutheran Collegians MTU

Who We Are

Since 1969, the Lutheran Collegians group has served students at Michigan Tech University.  Our mission is to reach out to our school and our community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  We also work to encourage Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod students to join us for Bible study, worship, and fellowship.  We would love to have you worship and study with us!

What We Do

We worship at 10:15 AM on Sundays (9:15 in the Summers).  We have rides available from the dorms 10 minutes before service time.  Just wait "out in back," and we will pick you up.

We have Soup and Scriptures–a home-cooked meal, games, and informal Bible study on Wednesdays at 6:00PM.  Need a ride?  We'll pick you up "out in back" of the dorms 10 minutes before we start.

Throughout the year we have special fellowship activities that include canoeing, camping, broomball, snowmobiling, skiing, sledding, volleyball and more.

Where We Are

The Lutheran Collegian Campus House is located right in back of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church.  We are at the corner of Mill Road and Woodmar Drive, just down the street from the Daniell Heights Student Housing and two blocks off of Highway 41 on Houghton's eastern edge.  (See the "Our Location- Map" page for a detailed map.)
